Force auto Archive getting an error message RRS feed

  • Question

    • Client Changed the policy from 90 days to 60 days
    • Archiving is till not working after 24hrs and when the folder is clicked it gives an error of unavailable
    • Same issue with other users that has delegation with the shared mailbox
    • Client needs the Archiving to work today
    • Replicated the issue on my test tenant, had the same error but it eventually worked after a few hours and provisioning scripts.
    1. EAC > shared mailbox > select shared mailbox with enabled Archive 
    2. Delegated user to mailbox
    3. Opened shared mailbox on OWA using open another mailbox
    4. Moved an email to Online Archive
    5. Shared mailbox has no license
    • Tried on Cx Outlook client and had the same issue
    • Other delegated user was not able to access the archiving folder for a week now.
    • Removed delegation and added back again
