Find location with address input from search box RRS feed

  • I tried to find an answer in 2 days in forums however there are  no answer fit with me. I want to create a webpage similar to http://www.bing.com/maps. I mean the webpage that has a search box, a map,so when you type a location in search box and press enter then the map will show you the place. I created a map but it only can search by query, I can't create a search box for people to input their location.

    Can someones please helps me ?

    p/s: If you have code for search box, could you share me ? thanks a lot

  • Not really sure if I understand your issue. If you have a textbox for user input you can then pass that into the Bing Maps REST Geocoding service as a query. This will perform the goeocde for you. Users can pass in addresses or coordinates and it will show them up on the map. If you can to take it a step further you can also tie in the Bing PhoneBook service and have your application call that if no results are returned by the Bing Maps REST geocoding service.
