Deleted account from Authenticator App now cannot access Azure Active Directory as admin account RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I setup the MFA for my Azure active directory global admin user and then managed to delete the authenticator app. This means the account is no longer setup within the authenticator app.

    I can easily login with the Microsoft account still ("cloud@company.com") and access 2 out of the 3 directory's in the Azure portal but I cannot get to the 3rd one. Every time I select the 3rd one in the Azure Portal it tries to "Approve sign in request" which I cannot do because I do not have the authenticator app anymore.

    This is an issue with the Azure Active Directory ("cloud_company.com#EXT#@companyDev.onmicrosoft.com") user, not the Microsoft account ("cloud@company.com"). 

    Has anyone had this issue before? Any idea of what I can do to access this directory again?
