Windows Mixed Reality AR on a Surface RRS feed

    I have a Unity AR app in which the user can place virtual objects on the (real) floor and can then modify them in various ways. It is meant for tablets and phones and it works on both Android and iOS, with ARCore and ARKit, respectively.

    Now I am thinking of porting this app to Windows Mixed Reality, but I am unclear if it supports an app like that. An added requirement is that I do not want to use a headset like the Hololens. Instead I only want to use a Microsoft Surface, to get data about the environment similar to how an AR app works on a phone or tablet.

    Is it possible to develop an application like this using Unity and Windows Mixed Reality, on a Surface?
