Allocation failed in North Europe

Question

We have some virtual machines in our DevTestLab that are scheduled to stop. However, now we get more and more of the following error when starting the machines:

"Allocation failed. We do not have sufficient capacity for the requested VM size in this region."

What's with this? We're paying much money for the service to have test machines in the cloud, but now we can't start them?

I've tried the "recommended" solutions in MSDN, but they don't work. Resizing won't change anything.

Thank you for reaching out to us. 

Unfortunately, we're presently facing some allocations and capacity outage issues that are preventing some customers to work normally with VMs.

We're already aware of this behavior and are working actively on this issue.

And at this point we don't have an ETA for when this issue will be mitigated. The recommendations at this point for North Europe region are the below : 

• Alternation regions recommended: US East, US South Central.

• Alternate SKU in recommended order : 

          FSV2 in WestEurope/NorthEurope/UKSouth

          LSv2 in WestEurope/NorthEurope
