Error in "Register the ASDK with Azure" Phase RRS feed

    I was able to successfully install asdk
    Successfully completed the "Post deployment configurations for ASDK" phase.
    Well, let's go to the next step
    Now according to "docs.microsoft" I need to install "Register the ASDK with Azure".
    I installed the """ADFS""" method
    I think I've encountered some problems
    Is it different to use ADFS or AZURE AD mode? I mean end use
    I have encountered an installation error right now.
    As you can see I have nothing in my dashboard right now

  • I am able to see that you have 2 distinct issues:

    1) portal not showing anything

    2) unable to register

    For your portal issue, this is quite abnormal, especially immediately after a deployment. I would deal with this before registering, becuase there is no point in registering an ASDK that you cannot use. 

    Follow this doc to Stop and Start the ASDK. This can take a while, but it will be important to get this working going forward. 

    For your registration issues, you will need to fill out the script to be specific for the enviornment. Make sure that you replace the areas that state <Subscription ID> with your Azure Subscription ID, and <unique-registration-name> with a unique name you would like to give the registration (this can be anything). If you get additional errors, please post them! Be sure to remove your subscription ID or anything you do not want public from the script before you post it.

    I used stop / start but no changes.
    Is there a way to check this or do I have to reinstall
    I install ADFS method Do I need to install AZURE DC method?

  • ADFS vs AAD installation are just the authentication types, and should not have an effect on the blades appearing in the portal. 

    I would start from scratch and reinstall the ASDK. If the issue re-appears, we will look into it further. I have never seen the portal have so many issues while Test-Azurestack shows all is green.
