“GetStdioPath” identifier does not found RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have created a new Smart Device application in Visual studio selecting Vendor specific SDK.

We are using “GetStdioPath” function in our application, but during compilation it throws error “GetStdioPath” identifier does not found.

Compiler also throws error[function does not take 2 arguments] on use of "strcpy_s" function when using this function without giving size of destination buffer.

Does C Run time library automatically included in new project creation or do we need to SET some environment variable in project settings ?

  • Assuming that you created a smart device project when you created the project, then those messages are telling you that the SDK doesn't include those functions.

Your OEM may be able to add the features to the OS and distribute a new SDK - but I don't know if those specific functions are available.
