  • Question

  • Hi,

I am using "Standard Akamai" for my site and after I enabled https for the site, I am not able to access it using https://domain.icu .
    I am getting following message:
    "

    Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://domain.icu/" on this server.

    Reference #18.1d055368.1572256065.209147ac
    "

I can access it when I enter http://domain.icu.
Please, what could be the reason for that kind of the issue?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Most probably it would be propagation issue. Can you try to access the site after few mins ?

If you are facing the same issue, let me know.

  • Hi,

I am still struggling with the same issue. I don't believe that propagation is related to this, because I have enabled HTTPS more than 24h ago.
May you let me know what could else be a problem?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Do you have any rule engine where you restricted certain IPs or region to access the site via Akamai?

If not, please drop an email to azcommunity@microsoft.com with your subscription ID and your CDN details.

I will take a look and get back to you.

  • Hi,

I don't have any rule engine, but I think that I figure out what might be a reason why it fails.
My origin is set to server just on http. Is that causing the issue?

    Thanks

  • I think that's exactly what is causing the issue. When you enable HTTPS and in your server if you only have http, then you will receive access denied.

Enable HTTPS and check if that resolves the issue.
