ML.NET and ARM: is it possible? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have been developing a little machine learning app in the ML.NET Framework. At some point, I wish to deploy it to a board (like the nVidia Jetson Nano) running an ARM processor.

Unfortunately, after trying to compile it with the dotnet CLI and Windows Linux subsystem with Ubuntu, I encountered an issue where I cannot build it for an ARM environment; error reads that it only supports x64 and x86.

The question simply: is ML.NET supported on ARM yet? Am I just missing something? I wonder if I'm running into this issue because I'm trying to compile it in a not-totally linux environment on a standard x64 desktop. I've tried researching, and although I haven't specifically found that you can compile for ARM; I haven't found anything saying you can't :)

Thank you in advance, and please bear with my poor understanding of this whole environment.
