Notebook VM VNet support RRS feed

  • Question

  • Are there plans / timeline to add VNet support for Notebook VM's? Out corporate policy denies creating new VNet's so ideally we would be able to either select a pre existing one or have one created silently in teh background without triggering this policy (similar to how Databricks compute creation happens).

    Thanks,

  • Hello Mark,

We have a new version of notebook that would be released by the end of this year which is expected to rollout the changes to support notebook VM's in a VNET.

  • Hello Mark,

I am reaching out internally to check if there are any features in the pipeline to support notebook VMs in a VNET.

Meanwhile, we have recently announced VNET support for experimentation and inference. Please take a look at this page if it helps you to secure your compute cluster in a VNET.
