Event ID 137 Ntfs Error about transaction resource manager RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I guess I'm title wrong here with my topic, but I've a problem concerning Transactional NTFS (TxF) in Vista. I searched the web for hours and couldn't find a solution or explanation. I hope someone will give me an explanation or solution and can tell me whether I need to be worried about my data.

Every time I mount a TrueCrypt (http://www.truecrypt.org/) container/image I get the following error message in Event Viewer. This only happens for Truecrypt files, but there is no solution or statement from TrueCrypt Foundation.

    Thank you in advance!

  • Hello, thx for your reply. No, unfortunately, there is no official support for TrueCrypt. I already filed a bug, but without answer. And in forum this error isn't replied since May 2008. Thanks

  • Hello,

unfortunately the problem is still existent. Truecrypt did not reply to my mails and my filed bug. And they released a new version, which doesn't solve this problem.

Any idea what I can do? Could this error be a problem for the stored data?

    Thanks in advance!
