  • Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. The error may be caused by invalid blob url generated by the Export Data module. What authentication method are you using?

  • We are also running into this issue. I have verified that all parameters for blob are specified correctly. This ML experiment started failing since 04/27/2020 8:00 PM PST. Nothing has changed in Azure ML experiment or Azure Storage account. It seems like an issue with Azure ML Studio.

This is the error we are getting:

[Critical] Error: Error 0009: The Azure storage account name "<StorageAccountName>" or container name "<ContainerName>" is incorrect; a container name of the format container/blob was expected.

  • I figured it out that "Secure Transfer Required" setting was changed from Disabled to Enabled which was causing this failure.

Is there a way we can allow secure transfer from Azure Storage account?

  • Hi,

Following up here. The root cause is that Studio (classic) does not support HTTPS (only support HTTP) when connecting to blob. Since Studio (classic) is in maintenance mode, there is no plan to add HTTPS support for Studio (classic). However, this is supported in Azure ML Designer (Preview). Please disable “require secure transfer” as workaround for Studio (classic). Hope this helps. Thanks.
