logging in to msdn forums from mobile phone

Question

Hi,

i have been trying to login to msdn forums since several days but there seems to be problem

i am using high end mobile phone with opera mini browser in it

i can access msdn forum , view all threads good enough but only problem is can not reply as i need to logni first.

After providing username and password credentials it doesnot allow me as a valid user :(

however  i can login to  see the hotmail mails through this link

www.windowsliveformobile.com/

If anyone has succeeded in doing so ,plz guide me.

P.S:I am going to ask this question in Forums Issues forum as well

I submitted a bug request and to see if we support the Opera Mini browser. You might need to use a different mobile browser.

Rajendra,

Which mobile OS are you referring here ? If it's windows mobile OS, that should have IE and IE would likely allow you to log on to the forums.

You might be using android, iOS or blackberry ! ?

I have an Android based phone, I tried multiple browsers for logging on to Forums but all in vain, Chrome, Opera , firefox for android all fails to log on.

I finally tried Dolphin for android and I could log on to forums (hurray !!!) Unfortunately, I can't reply with that browser, Cursor doesn't  blink or appear in reply box and text pad on browser doesn't appear at all.

I also wish if MS could release a Forum App for android ;-))

We've asked if there is any workaround for the users who use their phone to log on to the forums such as web client or IE client for the Android phone. Unfortunately, there is no workaround so far. The forum team has plan for supporting this but it may need time.

Sorry Ed, I didn't receive e-mail alerts for this thread (not sure why) hence, couldn't reply earlier.

Dolphin browser is available for Android and iOS at present. Opera and Firefox are all available for most of the mobile OS platforms.

IE is not available for Android yet AFAIK.
