    Hello-

    I'm building a Win8.1 app using JS. I have some data files that I need to transform into another format. Is it possible to set up a pre-build step on the solution or project with a JS app?

    I don't see anything that looks like what you want, but I'm thinking that you could add a second project, in C#, to the solution which allows you to add pre-build steps.

    NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
