LDF file of SQL DataBase

Question

HI,

I need an guidance of choosing the auto growth settings of the LDF file specifically of the user database in the sql instance 2014, 2016 .

The DB is in the initial phase of design which may cost us up to 20 GB size, where in in two years it may reach till 300 to 500 GB . 

I have to choose the initial setttings of LDF files like its auto growth and unlimited settings, please share me the best approach 

I know that its wise to choose only the MBs part in auto growth apart from Percentage , where in that MB's what would be the  best metrics to decide
