azure ml studio web service fails

  • I deployed a prediction service on ml studio through a python 2.7 notebook. Testing the service works locally but it fails when testing through 'test endpoint' from the web service management dashboard.

I get Internal Error Occurred without any further codes or details.

Error Message: An unknown error occurred.

  • Hi Houssam,

To troubleshoot the error, please follow the following doc :

Let me know if this helps, else we can probe in further.

Also, since MSDN is a public forum, please do not post sensitive data like Workspace ID and Tenant ID. For now I will just mask these details from your question.

  • Turns out the problem was due to a mismatch between the version of the pandas in the notebook on ML studio (0.20) and the version of pandas launched in the published service's environment (0.17) .

Keep in mind I have not changed/updated either this is the default behaviour in ML studio.

Thanks for the reply and I hope the documentation to ML studio as some links are broken.
