How do I get a naked domain working with Azure CDN? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am hosting a static website from an Azure CDN

I have already set up my domain. However, I am having trouble setting up the naked domain.

I am using Premium Verizon CDN.

On my domain provider, the cname points to to azureedge, which works fine. I am using my domain provider's A name.

Now what do I do with naked domain

    What I have tried:

    • The CDNVerify tool for Azure CDN. I was able to add the naked domain, however, it took too long to respond.
    • Switched to the Premium Verizon CDN to try and use the rules to redirect the alias to the naked domain, which was not successful as I could not get the naked domain working in the first place because it took too long to respond.
    • Created a new endpoint  for the naked domain separate from the alias. No difference in getting the naked domain to work.
    • Delete the AName and Create an @ host to huzailhassancdn.azureedge.net. Did not work.
