  • Question

  • Hi Team,

We have set up Project Server 2019 with one App Server and one WFE.

Workflow Manager is installed and configured in the app server along with the workflow service registered.

workflow endpoint is now accessed via http://servername:12291

After a while we have configured the sharepoint 80 site with the FQDN along with the SSL Certificate.

upon publishing a simple 2 stage workflow from SharePoint designer, pulishing failed with the below error

System.InvalidOperationException: Operation failed with error Microsoft.Workflow.Client.AuthenticationException: Authentication Failed. Valid credentials must be provided for one of the following protocols: Bearer, Negotiate. HTTP headers received from the server - ActivityId: 0a801d48-25d3-444e-a2f0-d5d3af5b1f49. NodeId: servername. Scope: /SharePoint/default/59fe9620-c2c6-4253-ba65-5ba84547ac30. WWW-Authenticate: Bearer realm="e220d2ae-13e4-4a77-abea-7b3199770423", client_id="00000005-0000-000

Should i reregister the wf service again on https as shown below ?

    Register-SPWorkflowService -SPSite https://fqdnname -WorkflowHostUri https://servername:12290 -ScopeName SharePoint
