PowerPivot Beta and Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have recently started contract work for a company that used the beta version of PowerPivot(PP) to create reports that I have been tasked to work on.  My machine has Windows 7 and Excel 2010 installed so, of course, loading CPT3 PP is not successful.  At the same time if I load the current version of PP I cannot work on the pivot tables that were created in the beta version.  My research so far indicates there is no way I can get the beta version to work on my machine, but, is there a way to convert the Excel pivot sheets so they will work with the current PP version?

  • There is no way to go backwards, I beleive.... I also think I installed CTP3 on windows 7 with no problems....so I do not understand why you have an issue with the install.
