Unable to Re-Enable Disabled Account RRS feed

  • Question

  • The method of payment on my Pay-As-You-Go subscription expired leaving the sub disabled. I have since changed the payment method to a valid one but am unable to re-enable the subscription. When I go to "Settle outstanding charges" it looks as if it will load any outstanding charges but instead ends up on "you don't have any outstanding charges for <last 4 of card here>". However, the "Reactivate" button is still grayed out.

I created a new sub to move the resources to, but it says I can't move them from a disabled sub.

How do I pay any outstanding charges and reactivate?

    This is very frustrating.

  • It would be better to create support request for this matter

  • I may be late on this, just wanted to add some info.

Resource movement is only possible if source and target subscriptions are active. Since, you do not have access to the disabled subscription, the action to perform resource movement isn't possible. So, you need to contact Azure subscription management team by creating a support ticket as said by "Vaibhav" and request for subscription re-activation.

As said in the previous comment, you cannot perform any action on a disabled subscription. For changing payment method, you should do it before subscription expiration date, post that only the support team can help you further.
