Switch Off MultiPoint? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there really no way to disable/switch off MultiPoint after it's been activated? I'd like to add a fullscreen "presentation mode" to our application, and just use MultiPoint for that, but I can't find any way of disabling it when the user comes back out of it.

Setting CurrentWindow to null, or passing null to Register, throws an exception. Disposing the static instance does nothing other than making things act strangely. There doesn't even seem to be a way to unregister a mouse from MultiPoint (which I *think* was there in the old SDK).

Please tell me I'm missing something and this isn't the massive limitation that it seems to be. I've just noticed that Mouse Mischief has a separate "player" application, rather than running inside PowerPoint, so I think I already may know the answer :-(
