How do I use managed identity to access Key Vault through the Key Vault action? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to get a secret from Key Vault using the Key Vault Get Secret action. I can't use my own login to create the API connection because user accounts are not given permissions against Key Vault in this organisation. There is an option marked "Use Service Principal". This wants a tenant, client ID, and client secret. How do I use managed identity instead?

The AS2 connector can already access Key Vault using the Azure Logic Apps service principal transparently. I want Key Vault to work the same way, otherwise the feature is useless. You would have to secure the secret somehow instead of securing the password.
