How to publish photos / images to Picasa web albums even if you are on Wordpress (not Blogger)

Hi,

Basically, what I want to do is upload my pictures to Picasa web albums when I post something to my wordpress blog. Currently, you can do that if you post content to Blogger. That can save some bandwidth.

I have written about a small workaround but want a more automatic approach. Maybe someone could write a plugin or something.
