Can't Purge a path that contains a comma RRS feed

  • Question

  • It does not seem like I can invalidate a URL with commas in it. Are there an restrictions to the Purge API endpoint that doesn't allow for commas?

    Here is my request:

    POST https://management.azure.com/subscriptions/[REDACTED]/resourceGroups/[REDACTED]/providers/Microsoft.Cdn/profiles/[REDACTED]/endpoints/[REDACTED]/purge?api-version=2019-04-15
    Authorization: Bearer [REDACTED]
    Content-type: application/json

    {
      "contentPaths": ["/image/upload/c_lpad,f_auto,q_auto,w_200,h_200/v1/employer/employees/fuwnhj6yo89nsohr67db"]
    }

    Here is the response I got:

    {
      "error": {
        "code": "BadRequest",
        "message": "Invalid ContentPath \"/image/upload/c_lpad,f_auto,q_auto,w_200,h_200/v1/employer/employees/fuwnhj6yo89nsohr67db\". ContentPath for purge action must be a relative path: either for a single resource \"/path/pic.jpg\" or a wild card \"/path/*\"."
      }
    }
