Find checkouts done by Other Users on TFS Source control RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Please help in getting the checkouts done by other users on TFS 2017 update 2 source control explorer.

Earlier it was possible with Power tools "Find by Status" option OR Sidekicks however now it gives weird characters instead of the user name. Please help!

    Thanks & Regards

  • Hi Chunmun1,

Which version of VS are you using? You could use VS 2015 with power tool to work with TFS 2017.

As a workaround, you could use tf status command line to display information about pending changes to files and folders in one or more workspaces.

    Best regards,

  • Hi Cece,

I am using VS 2015 and am able to use Power tools however the Main issue with it is that it gives weird characters for the User name which is not solving the purpose as the user's checkout to be undone can not be identified.

    Thanks & Regards
