Install MPTCP in Azure Ubuntu VM RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I want to deploy a php script on a Ubuntu 14.04 server that has the multipath tcp kernel installed. I can't find a way to install the kernel on my Virtual Machine, I can't find a Virtual Box like interface here. If you could find some time to guide me, that would be really great.

    Thanks a lot.

  • Hi Vraunak,

I am afraid to mention that currently Azure does not support the ability to modify/install the kernel related to MPTCP on Ubuntu. Our support boundary ends with provisioning a VM and its connectivity. Installing any application/making changes to kernel is solely on end-users risk.

    Hope this helps you.
