Patches Missing in CA and Config Wizard but installed on server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We accidentally removed one of the service accounts from some groups in Local Users and Groups in one App Server and re added it again. It is SP 2010. Selected 2013 by mistake.

But, some of the patches now are shown as missing in Central Admin as well as Config Wizard. Also, new patches are not being installed.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Virender Gupta

  • Hi,

Please try to run the following script in the server:

    Get-SPProduct –local

Then run SharePoint Products and Configuration Wizard again.

If the issue still exists, please run the following script to upgrade the server:

psconfig -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd -installcheck –noinstallcheck

  • Hi Dean,

The psconfig command was able to run in powershell followed by Get-SPProduct -Local. But it threw some error at the end and the patches are still missing in Central Admin. Also, we are not able to install any new patches, it throws error while running detection.

    Thanks,
