How do I trigger Security Center to rescan the settings related to Regulatory Compliance?

  • Greetings!

    I have deployed Azure security center to assist with getting my configuration to be PCI DSS 3.2 compliant.  I have reviewed recommendations in security center and enforced policy settings changes using group policy, yet the security center still shows the items as being unresolved (even after a long time, several days).

    For example, below is one recommendation:

    And here is the setting that I have enforced on the virtual machine:

    However the security center still shows the item as unresolved and lists this as a failing VM.  Please let me know if you know how I can make Security Center re-scan the VM and detect that the problem has been resolved.

  • Unfortunately there is no manual option available to re-scan the VMs and generally Security Center should be showing up in 24-48 hours.  If you are still having issues, I suggest you to please open a Azure Support ticket so that a service engineer can look into this issue.
