VERY poor performance on a newly added CSV (Slow performance issues between ISCSI traffic) RRS feed

  • Question

  • The cluster in question has two Hyper-V hosts.

Each host has two NICs dedicated to iSCSI traffic (iSCSI-24 and iSCSI-25). When connecting to a new LUN, if we first connect to iSCSI-24 and generate traffic then connect to iSCSI-25 we get VERY poor performance (~15 MB/s). this poor performance persists through reboots. If we first connect to iSCSI-25 and generate traffic then connect to iSCSI-24 we get GREAT performance (>600 MB/s). We have worked extensively with our storage vendor and the SAN appears to be working perfectly well. We also have other clusters connected to the same SAN which don't exhibit this behavior. We would like help troubleshooting root cause.

    New csv : CSV 7

    SATORAGE VENDOR is : tegile

firewall ? no networks issue , same n/w , same nlw tegile nics are on the same network,
