Error while using AzureMLpane in Excel looking to predict sales values RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

    I'm trying to emulate the Lemonade dataset to predict Sales values. I was able to create a model, deploy that as a web service and consume that service. While trying to run the web sevice, which looks to predict sales values from a set of manually input values, I run into an error that says

    Values I'm trying to enter

    Today's dateToday37.60.8230.3
    Tomorrow's dateTomorrow41.21.02310.3

    (this was typed out in the manual)

    Error!{"error":{"code":"BadArgument","message":"Invalid argument provided.","details":[{"code":"InputParseError","target":"input1","message":"Parsing of input vector failed. Verify the input vector has the correct number of columns and data types. Additional details: The string was not recognized as a valid DateTime. There is an unknown word starting at index 0.."}]}}

    If you could let me know what would be most important, I can put that in,

  • Hi A,

    Instead of typing "Today's date", please try to use a real date in the correct DateTime format. Good luck!

    ps. is this from the Introduction to Data Science course?
