Trying to get cost estimate to justify use of Logic apps and Flow RRS feed

  • Question

  • Our team uses Office 365 and now there has been talk for a while concerning doing things with Azure.  Specifically Logic apps and MS Flow.  I'm a .NET developer but only remotely familiar with these two, just from reviewing the docs.  Can someone do a "rough" estimate of the cost in this scenario?

eg.  An email sent to an O365 inbox that has a file attachment.  Grab the attachment and copy to a on-prem folder.

Im looking at the pricing calculator, trying to figure out what to put in

Someone on my team said they looked into this and their estimate was was $2-3K per month, just for this one.  That seems excessive?

As for usage, we would be looking at 10-15 emails per day, each with an attachment of 200-300KB each and the polling interval for the trigger would be maybe 1/15min

Anyone got a tutorial on how to use the Azure pricing calculator, specifically for logic apps?

Ok, now I think this could just as easily be done with MS Flow.  Taking a look at the pricing here, for the same scenario above - something to grab an attachment from a specific O365 inbox and copy it to an on-prem folder.  So, given the requirements above, even with "Flow plan 1" I'm still well within the limits, and only costing $5/month per user?  If this is only for one inbox, is this price still applied for every user we have?
