  • Some of the most commonly reported problems with Windows 7 include compatibility with older programs, slow performance on low-end hardware, and trouble with the Aero theme and its features.

  • 1.the bluetooth device sound is a system sound that is enabled by default in windows 7, to turn the sound on you can try the different options.

    1. click on the start button and then type "sounds" in the search box.

    2. click on the "check system sound that appears"

    3. in the "sounds" tab , scroll down to the " device connect" or "device disconnect" event, and then select the sound you want to play.

4.click on the " apply button" and t hen click on " ok" to save your changes.

    2.

The "OEM partition" is a partition on your hard drive that is created by the manufacturer  to store the factory image and recovery media. It is not a problem and is used to restore the computer to its original factory settings.

As for the blue question mark that appears on the Local Disk, it could be caused by a problem with the hard drive or a problem with the drive's file system. To troubleshoot the issue, you can try the following:

    • Run the chkdsk command to check for and fix any errors on the drive.
    • Run the disk cleanup utility to clear up any unnecessary files on the drive.
    • Run a disk defragmenter to optimize the drive.
    • Run a disk error-checking tool to check for any errors on the drive.
    • Run a disk diagnostic tool to check the drive's health status.

If these steps don't solve the problem, it's possible that the hard drive is failing and you should consider replacing it.

  • I have the same issue as described above on my dell laptop .. was working fine till about a month ago and now im stuck w/ no sounds because of it :-[

  • For your first issue, to turn on the Bluetooth device sound in Windows 7:

    1. Go to Control Panel.
    2. Click on Hardware and Sound.
    3. Go to Sound.
    4. In the Sound window, go to the Sounds tab.
    5. Scroll down to the Device Connect and Device Disconnect section.
    6. Select the sound you want to play when connecting or disconnecting a Bluetooth device.
    7. Click Apply and OK.

For your second issue, the disk 0 basic 465.76 GB online health OEM partition is a system partition created by the manufacturer of your computer. It contains the factory image restore and recovery files for your computer. It is not a problem and should not cause any issues with your computer. If you are experiencing issues with this partition, you can try to use the recovery media to restore your computer to its original state, or you can contact support for further assistance.

    1. To turn on the Bluetooth device sound on your Windows 7 computer:
    • Go to Control Panel and click on Sound.
    • In the Sound window, select the Sounds tab.
    • Scroll down to the Windows Bluetooth Notifications category.
    • Select the sound that you want to play when you turn on or off your Bluetooth.
    • Click Apply and then OK.
    1. The blue question mark appearing on your computer's local disk could be due to a missing or incorrect drive letter assignment. In Disk Management, the OEM partition is a reserved partition used by the computer manufacturer to store system files. It should not cause any issues. If you are still encountering problems with your disk, I recommend checking for disk errors using the built-in disk error-checking tool in Windows 7.

    To run disk error-checking:

    • Go to Start and right-click on Computer.
    • Select Manage.
    • In the Computer Management window, click on Disk Management.
    • Right-click on the disk in question and select Properties.
    • In the Properties window, click on the Tools tab.
    • Click on Check Now under Error-checking.
    • Check both boxes and click on Start.
