  • Hi. Is it good to use windows sonic for headphones ? I connect a pioneer hd receiver with 5.1 speakers via hdmi  to my laptop. I have good surround sound. Will windows sonic for headphones do an improvment?Is this only improve stereo outputs like heaphones or stereo speaker 2.0 or will improve my 5.1 dts hdma/dolby truehd speakers output like the dolby atmos height virtualization system that is used from the new receivers to make the feeling of atmos

  • If Sonic has a separate driver/Software,go to its internaet web site,download as listed.Headphones are by default Plug & Play...To edit sound, the speaker by the clock/Playback devices/edit/Speakers-Properties/customize,& click on controller/properties/edit..
