App Developer account verification process - waiting several weeks for Microsoft to complete RRS feed

  • Hello ... we are a new Windows app developer looking to publish to the MSFT Store for the first time.  Our account verification process is "stuck" following the developer email verification step and is pending the next two steps, Employment and Business Verification.  Have been waiting for someone from MSFT or D&B to contact us via phone or email as provided in the Account contact info.  Have contacted MSFT Partner Center team and they asked for us to follow up with Microsoft Store support but that has not been productive (support process only forwards Developer inquiries to standard MSFT web page info on the overall price).  Any suggestions from the community on how to confirm actual status of the account verification process so that we can at least know if there is a backlog and we are still "in the queue" or should start the process all over again ?

    Is your account a company account? If it is,the verification may take from a few days to a couple of weeks, and often includes a phone call to your company. You can check your verification status on the Account settings page.Please go to Opening a developer account for more details.

    Yes it is a company account.  We registered on the Partner Center site back on 01/21 so it is now over 3 weeks. We have been waiting for that call ! ;>)  Or email ... any communication from MSFT that would help us understand the status of our account verification is moving forward or requires further information.  Our first app release is already submitted to the Partner Center but of course the MSFT dashboard indicates that we "can't submit to the Store until your account has been verified." 

    We are just looking to move forward to start our internal testing with a Store downloadable build.  Not ready to publish the app yet for public release.  Any suggestions on how to proceed or confirm the account validation process requirements would be appreciated.

    Since the account issue contains a lot of private information and the forum can't track the process of verify ,you could go here to ask to team which may give you more details for help directly.   • Thank you for the recommendation.  Believe that we have attempted to get support via the Live Chat option and the support person referenced us to go to Microsoft Store support, which as I mentioned above was not productive. I have submitted an support incident request as you suggested.

  • Hello Daisy,

    I did get a reply from the MSFT Support team last Friday.  They asked for documentation for our business entity which I provided by posting to their support site. But I have not heard back since then. Here is the support case ID # that were provided with the ticket filed.

    Case ID: SRX1461578490ID  

    Is it typical for MSFT Support not to acknowledge with a reply to the posting of developer business documentation ?  Just want to ensure that the information was received and is adequate for them to proceed with the verification process.

    It appears that MSFT Support did reply to another email address associated with our account, one that I had asked for them not to use in their replies.  So it does appear that the support team is following up at this time.
