January 2020 Advertising Payout Delay RRS feed

  • Question

  • Can anyone confirm whether they did or did not receive this email? We've only had a serious payout delay once before and it required escalation to resolve.  Trying to determine whether this is systemic or something specific to our account.

"Your January advertising payout will be delayed this month. We will release your payment very soon and we apologize for this delay.

If you have any questions, please log a support ticket here.

    Thanks, Microsoft"

  • Hi,

There is a known issue with the Ad-SDK that sometimes the Ads doesn't show. You could log a support ticket like the email mentioned to check if your scenario is related to that issue.

    Best regards,

    Roy

  • When are the advertising payouts going to happen?  They are currently two weeks late.

  • Given the dramatic change in reported info in the dashboard that has happened in the past day or so I wouldnt hold your breath.

As we have been saying for multiple years, reporting is utterly broken + clearly no one gives a ****  as nothing ever seems to happen to fix any of the issues regardless of the number of support requests that get raised.  How can the dash still be reporting info weeks behind the actual date?

As for "There is a known issue with the Ad-SDK" - no *&%&* Sherlock...

Roy, this has absolutely nothing to do with the Ad SDK.  Ad revenue was generated in December 2019 and has yet to be paid.

  • Just received back payment for Dec-2019 and Jan-2020 today.  Looks like things are back on track.
