Error 1004 when submitting to the store from the CI RRS feed

  • Question

  • We're blocked on our CI/CD setup by an error that happens at submission on the Store: when clicking on "Submit to the store", the certification step fails with error "1201" or "1004".

WACK execution on the .appxbundle doesn't report any error.

The .appxupdate package is accepted in the packages page when uploaded.

A deployment done with a local build, using a PowerShell script shared with our CI system - a priori the same build - is accepted and successfully deployed.

Hope you can help unblock us

  • Hi ,

Since the problem is more related to publishing apps, I'll help you to move this thread to the Publishing Windows Store App Forum. You could get more professional support about publishing apps.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,

    Roy

  • Hi dashlane,

    >Hope you can help unblock us

Unblocking the app is out our scope,we also can't track your app submission process, but you could provide some information(App type, the target version of app,the version of Microsoft.NETCore.UniversalWindowsPlatform.......) about your app  or an simple demo for us to reproduce your issue and analyze it. Don't include your personal info.

You could make a support ticket to ask the team which could track your app submission process for help directly. Please click 'contact us',select 'dashboard issue' as support topic and proper issue type to 'submit an incident'.
