Install Sharepoint Server 2012 on Windows Server 2012

Question

Dear all,

I am trying to install Sharepoint Server 2012 on Windows Server 2012 (a VM in Azure). I already have SQL Server 2012 Dev installed on that server.

I managed to install all the prerequisites ("manually", not through the install prerequisites wizard) but one issue remains. It still tells me "Application Server Role, Web Server (IIS) Role: configuration error", even though I did install the Application Server and Web Server (IIS) Roles.

I included the log file and the list of server roles and features below.

Can anyone help me out?

You also may need to run the installation as administrator "Run as Administrator".

similar issue, ended up doing a manual install since it kept failing as if the system was "offline".
