Is it possible to Root Visual Studio Emulator Android?

Question
-
I am currently using 'Visual Studio Emulator for Android' to run android apps on my computer, i find that after using multiple types of emulators bluestacks, genymotion, andy etc. That VS is the most stable and easy-to-use out of them all.
The only problem that i have compared to the other emulators is running apps that require root permission, with this being an emulator i know that its not possible to go the route of rooting via fastboot/recovery, this is the only method i know of rooting as thats how i normally do it on my phone.
I have tried most of the 'rooting' APK's (kingo, towel, frama etc) and none of those have worked.
So would anybody happen to know how i can get root access on Visual Studio Android Emulator?
I am trying to run a touch-replication app (Frep & RepetiTouch) but all of them seem to require root access.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi PT555,
Thanks for your friendly response.
I discussed this issue with other Phone development members, they said that actually this tool is the third party SDK developed by the google, so to make sure that whether you could root or how to root this tool, you would discuss this issue with the google team.

You could start a discussion in above site, maybe you could get bettee response. Thanks for your understanding.
Of course, if you meet any VS IDE usage issue, welcome back:)

Hi PT555,
As far as I know, the Visual Studio Android Emulator is single third party SDK which was included in VS setup file now, but I'm not very sure that what you mean "get root access on Visual Studio Android Emulator", generally when choosing one of those Android development options, Visual Studio will also install the brand new Visual Studio Emulator for Android to use as a target for debugging your app, we could also install it singly:
And it also have the specific requirements if we want to use the Visual Studio Emulator for Android by design.
I'm not very sure that what the real access permission you want to get in your side for this tool. For example, if your system doesn't meet the requirements, it would have a limitation for you to use this tool.

If I have misunderstood this issue, please feel free to let me know.

Hi Jack,
Ah right sorry i might have explained it incorrectly.
I am basically using it from a recreational aspect (
But there are a few apps that i want to install on the emulator which require 'root' access, I installed them fine and they show up on the emulator but they wont actually run because they require root access.
so i was just wondering if there was a way to root the emulator like you would root an android phone? Thanks
