Oliver Niehus can look back on over 20 years experiences as a System Developer for various operating systems. He works at Microsoft primarily as a Principal Application Development Manager (Technology Lead: Windows, Security). Oliver Niehus is also a member of the Application Experience SWAT team supporting Software Developers and Infrastructure Manager for migrations to new Windows versions such as Windows 7 / 8 and Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012. He was also supporting worldwide ISV Labs, where he was involved as part of the Application Quality Lab team. Security in Applications and Operating Systems is also a very important part of his role. This is focused on the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL).
