Cannot create Linux VM

I'm trying to provision an Ubuntu VM image. Whenever I set it up the new management UI shows it as provisioning, but when I come back after a while (20 minutes or so), it's still busy. When I refresh the page, the system acts as though I never asked for a VM.
Anyone else running into this?

It starts to create the instance and I see the little bar moving at the bottom, but when I leave and come back to the management UI it pretends like I never did anything.

We need some more information to help diagnose your issue:
Are there any errors displayed ? ( magenta exclamation marks ) on the lower right hand corner of the portal ?
Where are you creating the VM ( which Data center? ). Have you tried a different location?
Do you have many VMs deployed?
Have you looked into the details page for the VM? is there an ssh connection string there? If so .. can you try to ssh into the machine please?
Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience

I am having the same problem. There are no errors on the lower right hand corner. I created the VM on west US as this is the only one I have. I have one Windows VM deployed and I am trying to deploy this linux one. I pushed this vm from susestudio. The image is functional as I test drived it before I uploaded it to Azure.
I tried ssh into the machine but, ssh says it cannot find the host.
Is there anything that can be done?
