How point my root domain name example.com to example.cloudapp.net ???

Question

Hi there.

I don't much about DNS but what I'm trying to do is to have the ability for my users to type example.com in their browser, and the web site should load without redirecting to a sub domain such as www.example.com. (Looks better and shorted in the browser without www)

My azure site is example.cloudapp.net

I've read that CName cannot map the root so I'm wondering how I can achieve that.
