Corporate firewall rule for Web role instance to access on-premises servers via Azure connect

Question

Hi, to allow the Azure Web role instance to access the on-premises servers via Azure Connect. The Internet-facing corporate firewall need to add rule to grant the access.

1. Can the Azure Web role instance be identified by the internet URL which can serve as the source DNS name when defining the grant access firewall rule? 
2. To enable the Azure Connect, I only find the recommended firewall settings for the local endpoint to be accessed. Is there any recommended firewall rules for the Internet-facing corporate firewall?

Hi,

For question 1, If you have multiple Azure web role instances running on the Cloud, all instances are equivalent and customers' requests will be divede to these instances via Azure Load Balancer. As far as i know, client application can not identify current web role instance so far, if you want these function of Windows Azure, try to post your request as a feature request to Microsoft:
