I want to insert data into a table in SQL using a .csv file.
I want to use integeration services using dts packages.I don't want to use dts wizard.
I know how to import data using .xls file.
But how to do it with .csv.
Please let me know the implementation.

Wednesday, August 26, 2009 1:15 PMModeratorIf you can do it using excel, its very straightforward with CSV. Rather than using the Excel provider, change your connection manager to be a flatfile datasource, select your file with appropriate delimiter and you should be fine.
