Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 compatible with Azure

Question

I created a report using the SQL Server BIDS. 

When I run the report against a SQL Azure database I have setup I get this message...

• An error has occurred during report processing. Tracing ID is: 5be46255-8a03-44ee-b4d0-167311c40cba. (rsProcessingAborted)
  • An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'SQL' that is either not registered for this report server or is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services. (rsDataExtensionNotFound)

I'm running VS 2008 instead of 2010 and wondered if this may be a factor.
