Databinding and Databases

Question

Hello,

 

I have a question about data binding. Many of the samples and tutorials on the internet show how you can create powerful applications simply by using databinding in Expression Blend. However, most of those samples use XML for a back end since Blend has rich support for XML.

 

Could anyone give me any pointers on how I could do databinding using another backend (like say an Access .mdb file) using Blend/XAML/C#/Visual Studio? Also just out of curiosity... is it also possible to use an Access 2007 database file (since its a new file format....based on zip, etc)?

Ah ha! Thats perfect! I was kinda hoping for a way to do it without writing C# code (like you can with xml) but oh well!
