Good day, all.
Since the release of Expression Web 3, we have encountered several significant issues with the install. Many of you have contacted Microsoft via a dedicated email submission process that we have set up to let us know about your issue and to get help.
We are glad to report that we now have solutions for most of these setup issues, and have documented those in Knowledge Base articles. Please see the list below for topics and links to the related articles.

Hi there – I am having a very frustrating problem which I have never encountered before. I have been using Expression Web 2 now for about a year, but unfortunately several days ago it suffered a severe crash. I've tried running the repair option off the DVD – but to no avail, and it will not uninstall it either. I can't reinstall it until I uninstall it and it won't uninstall! The crashed EW2 is also affecting other functions in my computer so it is really frustrating. I have tried all the “fixes” I have been able to find through the forum to no avail. The program is “Stuck” on my computer. Neither the installation disc nor the Window’s removal wizard will un-install this program! PLEASE HELP! I am building several web-sites for people and now I am dead in the water!
I am running EW2 on a computer with XP service pk3 …I have had no problems till this crash.
If anyone can help me PLEASE thanks! -

Edit: I see you already created a new thread. So, disregard all but the tip try System Restore
Please start a separate thread and ask your question there. Be sure to include the text of any error messages and error codes. Also, take a look at Event Viewer in the System and Application tabs and look for errors.
The more info we have, the better we'll be able to assist you.
Just a quick note that may help: Use System Restore at a point when everything was working properly and see if that resolves the problem.
Sorry you're having problems.
