Confirmation Pages with Front page servers

Friday, November 23, 2012 5:41 PMHow do I disable the default confirmation page? I have created my own but the default comes up first and when I press 'return to form' it then goes to my own confirmation page. However, the default also seems to send an email!

Friday, November 23, 2012 6:58 PMYou may want to go to the Microsoft Answers form where FrontPage is supported. There is oly limited legacy support for FrontPage forms in Expression Web. Since the FP forms bot requires FPSE on the server very few people use them anymore so you probably need to talk to someone who supports FrontPage instead of Expression Web to find out the answer to your question. I haven't used an FP form in over a dozen years so haven't a clue.

Heh, heh... you're asking this in the wrong forum. EW is most decidedly not FrontPage, and pretty much everyone here would recommend that you move away from any dependence on the FPSE as soon as you possibly can, and that would definitely include FP forms.

scottPlease remember to "Mark as Answer" the responses that resolved your issue. It is common courtesy to recognize those who have helped you, and it also makes it easier for visitors to find the resolution later.

You designate your custom confirmation page in form properties.
Right click in your form, and select Form Properties, Click the Options button, click the Confirmation page tab
and enter the file name / location of your confirmation page. Works in EW2 and EW4
