Expression Web 4 And Uploading Websites To Azure

Hi Everyone,
I’m a newbie trying to get started with Expression web 4, bought a book, already created a default website in Azure and the first page is up and running. Just one question remains. Is it possible from the interface of Expression Web itself to upload a website directly to Azure? What I’ve done now is Install the Azure WebMatrix Tool and sync my local website to Azure. That works, but this is a two-step process. Just wondering if there is a more effective way of doing that (besides ftp).
Thanks!

AFAIK, the publishing methods currently available in EW are the only ones available. That would be the FPSE, WebDAV, the local file system, and several forms of secure and unsecured FTP. I don't use Azure, and am not familiar with the mechanics of publishing to it, but if it does not use one of the built-in mechanisms available in EW, then the answer is no.
cheers,

Ask on the Azure forum. I would find it insanely silly if Azure did not allow direct uploading of sites via FTP, without needing to involve WebMatrix, but I've never used Azure.
Azure forums: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windowsazureplatform
Search for FTP, then start asking them questions.

Yes, you can do this. The methods available depend on what service you're using in Azure. If you're using Windows Azure Web Sites, you can use FTP from Expression Web to publish to your website in Azure. If you're using a Web Role, you can configure it for WebDAV or FTP.Jim Cheshire | Microsoft

Yeah I'm using Azure Web Sites. So I'm having the choice between FTP directly from EW or a two step process with webmatrix. Well at least I know I was doing it right :)
Thanks for your answer Jim!!

By the way, you can also use GIT and make it easier as well.
