I just installed web expressions 4 and I have no template option on the New> menu.

I did upgrade from a trial to reg. copy.

Try the Site menu, New Site selection (ctrl+shift+n). The dialog box that pops open will have Templates listed on the left. Select the template on the right.

    Take care, Mike

What Mike said. The templates are meant to be site-oriented, not page-oriented, IF you are talking about the site templates provided with EW. For those, click "Site|New Site...|Templates" and choose one.

That said, there are also included page layouts which you can access with "File|New|Page|CSS Layout" or "File|New|Page|Style Sheets," or, if you have one you've already created or imported, "File|New|Page|General|Create from Dynamic Web Template."

So, if you want to create a complete site, with a really funky, not-ready-for-prime-time folder structure, use the Site menu. You can always rebuild the folder structure (as long as you drag and drop within EW, the links will be updated), or you can build it yourself using the page layouts. Your choice...  ;-)

    cheers,
    scott
