Install of Orcas beta 2 fails.

Question

I have tried to install Orcas beta 2 on both Vista Ultimate and XP Pro SP2.  I get the following error message:

"A problem has been encountered while loading the setup components.
Cancelling setup."

The contents of dd_error_vs_procore_90.txt is as follows:

On my XP installation, I have checked that Windows Installer 3.1 is present.

I reverted to an ealier snapshot of Vista (I'm running it under Parallels) and I have successfully installed Orcas beta 2.
